Vitesse and RubyTech deliver high-performance, stackable managed Ethernet switch portfolio

INTEROP 2013, USA: Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. announced that RubyTech, a leading Taiwanese networking products manufacturer, is using Vitesse's E-StaX-III (VSC743x) family in RubyTech's GS-2328X and GS-2352X Stackable Layer-2+ Managed Ethernet Switch platforms.

Targeted at high density SMB/SME data center connectivity and demanding data, voice and video applications over corporate Enterprise networks, these platforms will be showcased in Vitesse's Booth #1115 at Interop 2013, May 7-9, 2013 in Las Vegas.

"Vitesse was the leading choice for our Stackable Layer-2+ managed switch platforms, given our commercial success with prior generations of Vitesse Ethernet switch solutions," said Jason Young, GM at RubyTech. "Vitesse solutions easily support our requirements for multiple stacking topologies, simplified management, and advanced security with its E-StaX-III solutions. This ultimately helped expedite our time-to-market, as we're now in full production and shipping ECO Series GS-2328X and GS-2352X Layer-2+ managed switch platforms."

"Vitesse's E-StaX-III solutions enable our customers to seamlessly meet evolving Enterprise network demands such as video conferencing, collaboration, VoIP and cloud-based SaaS/PaaS services," said Harpreet Chohan, product marketing director at Vitesse. "This results in a higher return on investment and faster time-to-market for our customers. Vitesse is committed to enabling carrier-class remote management, reliability and QoS capabilities in the Enterprise, particularly as these networks become increasingly cloud-based."
