USA: Real Intent Inc., the leading provider of software products that accelerate functional verification and advanced sign-off of electronic designs, announced that its revenue in the first half of fiscal 2013 increased more than 70-percent compared to the last half of fiscal 2012, and the company is on track for annual growth of more than 100-percent by the end of 2013.
In addition, Real Intent’s customer list grew by more than 20-percent, which includes major semiconductor companies in storage, computing, networking, communications and consumer electronics industries.
Prakash Narain, president and CEO of Real Intent said: “Our software products solve challenging verification and sign-off SoC design problems with speed no other company can match. These tools are capable of handling full-chip SoC designs in excess of 500 million gates without compromising accuracy or performance. The world’s top-tier electronics companies now use them to verify their advanced ASIC and SoC designs for leading-edge electronic products.
"To serve the growing interest in our solutions, we recently opened new sales and support centers worldwide and are actively hiring. We are excited by the ways our proven Ascent and Meridian solutions are helping design teams, by the talent and expertise our recruiting is bringing to the Real Intent team – such as Upinder Walia for example, who recently joined our staff – and by the resulting momentum we see in our business.”
Upinder Walia joined Real Intent this spring as executive account manager supporting northwest North America, including Silicon Valley. Well known in the EDA industry, he brings a successful track record spanning 14+ years at SpringSoft, Novas, Cadence and Sun Microsystems, among others.
In the past year, Real Intent announced new releases of its Ascent products for early functional verification and X-verification, and its Meridian sign-off solutions, plus new RTL flows with Calypto Design Systems and DeFacTo Technologies. It has opened sales offices and added distributors worldwide, and now serves design teams in North America, Europe, Israel, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
