IRELAND: Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "Global Semiconductor Industry - Porter's Five Forces Strategy Analysis" report to its offering.
The economic recession had a major impact on the global semiconductor industry and the market experienced a decline from 2008 till mid-2010. The year 2011 saw the industry posting strong growth, which is expected to continue in the coming years.
With integrated semiconductors leading the industry in terms of market revenues, discrete semiconductors are not expected to post much of a strong growth till 2016. In fact, discrete semiconductors make up for just about 20 percent of the global semiconductor industry.
