TI intros workplace EV charging with Blink charging stations

USA: ECOtality Inc., a leader in clean electric transportation, and Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) announced TI will install 46 Blink Level 2 charging stations at 12 office locations throughout Texas, including nine at its corporate headquarters in Dallas.

TI is the latest in a fast-growing list of leading companies to offer workplace charging benefits to employees.

"TI offers a variety to ways to help employees find alternative, innovative commuting methods, especially in North Texas where our largest employee population resides. Adding EV charging supports another commuting choice for our employees," said Paul Westbrook, sustainable development manager for TI.

"We can't predict the future, but we can certainly help shape it through actions like this. Several TI employees bought or leased an electric vehicle shortly after we announced the EV charging station program."
