USA: Real Intent Inc., a leading provider of EDA software solutions that accelerate electronic design sign-off, eliminate complex failures in SoCs, and lead the market in performance, capacity, accuracy and completeness has expanded its US sales in the Central Region to handle growing demand for its Ascent and Meridian tools.
Located in Austin, Texas, the new office will be headed by 30-year semiconductor/EDA industry veteran Charles “Chad” Chadwell for sales support, and James Moore for technical support, whose experience spans more than a decade.
Chad’s broad expertise covers sales, business development, consulting and engineering. For several years prior to joining Real Intent, he ran CHC Consulting, a firm he founded to handle sales and business development for software applications and systems used to develop hi-tech products.
Previously, he held sales and business development positions at EDATechForce, XtremeEDA, LogicVision, Tharas Systems, Mentor Graphics and Quickturn Design Systems. Chad began his career in software at TI. He holds a Master of Science degree in technology commercialization (MBA) from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Round Rock ISD.
James’ proven track record for creating quality solutions in all phases of hardware design extends from concept through delivery and support. He joined Real Intent as a Field Application Engineer after a decade at AMD. Serving there in multiple design engineering capacities, he gained extensive skill in digital design, FPGAs and RTL design. A University of Texas Engineering Scholar and graduate with multiple honors, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering.
