TOKYO, JAPAN: Japan-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment posted ¥80,850 million in orders in November 2011 (three-month average basis) and a BB Ratio of 0.97 according to the November 2011 BB Ratio published by SEAJ.
A book-to-bill ratio of 0.97 means that ¥ 97 worth of new orders was received for every ¥100 of product billed for the month.
The three-month average of worldwide bookings in November 2011 was ¥80,850 million. The bookings figure is 0.4 percent down the final October 2011 level of ¥81,190 million and 30.6 percent down the November 2010 bookings level of ¥116,532 million .
The three-month average of worldwide billings in November 2011 was ¥ 83,353 million. The billings figure is 14.6 percent down the final October 2011 level of ¥97,591 million and 22.3 percent down the November 2010 billings level of ¥107,339 million.
The SEAJ book-to-bill is a ratio of three-month moving average bookings to three-month moving average billings for the Japanese semiconductor equipment industry. Billings and bookings figures are in millions of Japanese ¥.
