The Intel Xeon E5-2600 platform brings to market processors featuring up to 8 cores
and 16 threads per socket, and is the world’s first server processor to support full integration of the PCI Express 3.0 specification. Additionally, the platform’s Intel C600 series chipset features support for high-speed storage Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), RAID features and PCI Express 3.0.
