POING, GERMANY: SILICA, an Avnet Inc. company, announced its largest European training series ever, taking targeted training events to twenty venues throughout Europe. Joining forces with leading Microcontroller and Microprocessor vendors Cypress, Freescale, Infineon, Intel, Microchip, NXP, Renesas, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and technology vendor ARM, around 1000 design engineers are expected to attend.
Running from June to October 2012, the MCU Solution Summit is a key training initiative of SILICA's Core 'n More strategy, which aims to help customers to build smarter applications with the industry's widest microcontroller choice and the best technical back-up resources.
Whilst the seminars focus on ARM and proprietary MCU and processor architectures, the approach is application-oriented rather than product-specific. The one-day seminars will offer up to sixteen 75-minute training courses for attendees to choose from, with each track covering applications relevant to the individual market. The use of multiple learning tracks comprised of very technical solution modules and live demonstrations will allow designers to explore how solutions can be applied to their own design innovations.
