Design Automation Conference 2009, AUSTIN, USA: The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) announced the election of its Board of Directors for the 2009-2010 term, as well as the place and time for the Annual Member/Guest Meeting.
The newest elected Board member is Charlie Huang, senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., who replaces the previous Board representative from Cadence.
The re-elected Board Members and their representatives are:
AMD – Ward Vercruysse, director and fellow;
ARM Inc. - John Goodenough, world wide director Design Technology;
IBM Microelectronics – Leon Stock, director, EDA;
Intel Corp. - Rahul Goyal, director, EDA Business;
LSI - Ameesh Desai, senior director, Design Tools & Methodology;
National Semiconductor - James Lin, vice president of Technology Infrastructure;
NXP – Barry Dennington, sr. vice president;
Sequence Design - Vic Kulkarni, president & CEO; and
Synopsys - John Chilton, sr. vice president, Marketing & Strategic Development.
