Frontier Silicon proven choice for digital radio

2012 International CES, LAS VEGAS, USA: Frontier Silicon, the world leading supplier of digital radio and network audio technology, announced that it has now shipped over 17 million digital radio processor ICs. The company provides the most field proven receiver solution with 75 percent of DAB/DAB+ digital radios in the market today deploying Frontier Silicon technology.

The success of Frontier’s current digital radio processor IC’s, Chorus 3 and Kino 3, is testament to the growing popularity of digital radio across a number of high volume markets. By the end of Q1 2012, these devices will have shipped 5 million units taking just over two years to reach this important milestone.
