Real Intent appoints Craig Cochran as VP of Marketing and Business Development

SUNNYVALE, USA: Real Intent Inc., the leading provider of software products that accelerate Advanced Sign-off Verification of electronic designs, announced that Craig Cochran has joined the company as vice president of marketing and business development.

His extensive strategic, product and corporate marketing expertise within startups and public companies will serve to accelerate market development for the company’s Advanced Sign-off Verification products. Carol Hallett continues in her role as vice president of Worldwide Sales. Both executives report to Real Intent’s President and CEO Prakash Narain.

Craig Cochran brings extensive strategic, product and corporate marketing expertise in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and the electronics industry, with over 20 years of experience serving startups, medium-sized and Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to Real Intent, Cochran was vice president of marketing and business development at ChipVision Design Systems. Before that, he was vice president of marketing and business development at Jasper Design Automation. Previously, he managed a number of product and corporate marketing teams at Synopsys. He began his career as a design engineer at General Electric, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
