Silicon Harmony selects mixed-signal IP from S3 Group for advanced digital TV ASIC

SAN JOSE, USA: S3 Group, a world leading provider of mixed-signal semiconductor IP solutions, announced that Silicon Harmony has licensed its mixed-signal IP for their Digital TV ASIC.

S3 Group delivered a high performance ADC and PLL combination from its portfolio as part of the deal. Silicon Harmony, an ASIC Design Service Partner of Global Foundries, is a leading supplier of ASIC solutions and services for the Korean market.

Jun Dae Kim, CEO, at Silicon Harmony, said: "S3 Group achieved first-time-right silicon and helped us to satisfy our customers demanding schedule and specifications relating to the Digital TV ASIC.
