BEAVERTON, USA: OCP-IP has announced seven new members who have joined the organization. These members are: Arrow Devices, Design Rivers, EDA Express, Samplify, Silicon Integrated Systems, TrueChip, and University of Utah.
OCP-IP members receive free training and support, software tools, and documentation, enabling them to focus on the challenges of SoC design. Leveraging OCP-IP’s infrastructure eliminates the need to internally design, document, train and evolve a proprietary standard and accompanying support tools, freeing up critical resources for the real design work, while providing enormous cost savings.
Arrow Devices is an IP provider focused on high-speed interfaces such as USB 3.0. Arrow Devices' USB 3.0 Device Controller is a full feature, FPGA proven, USB 3.0 spec compliant IP core. The company also provides design/verification services based on IP development expertise in the USB domain.
Design Rivers is a design services and solutions company focused on the chip implementation of Systems-On-Chip. IP integration, development, verification and physical implementation services are offered. The company supports flow implementation & methodology design as well as all aspects of power, size and performance analysis, optimization and implementation.
EDA Express administers an informational site of EDA tools for Japanese engineers.
Samplify is a solution provider of technology, semiconductor and system products for the medical imaging, wireless infrastructure, and industrial markets. Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, Samplify’s technology and semiconductor products, including the SAM1600 family of compressing ADCs and its AutoFocus™ ultrasound beamforming technology, have won multiple industry awards for innovation.
Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) focuses on cutting-edge SoC solutions to meet various applications for the digital era, including: touch and tablet devices, HDTV, internet TV, portable CE, personal computers and customized SoC design service. SiS is headquartered in Taiwan and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under the code "2363"
TrueChip provides IP solutions for interface buses and bridges across serial/parallel interfaces, connectivity IPs and video & imaging solutions.
University of Utah College of Engineering prepares students for leadership positions and professional practice in academia, industry and government to improve the productivity, health, safety and enjoyment of human life through leading-edge research and to stimulate and grow the economy by providing qualified engineering professionals.
“These seven new members illustrate the importance of a standard, open interface for IP,” said Ian Mackintosh, president OCP-IP. “OCP-IP not only provides the OCP specification, but also a complete infrastructure that allows our members to quickly and easily implement OCP into world-class, leading-edge designs.“
