DisplayLink announces OEM availability of world’s first single chip SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to dual 1080p display controller

Interop Las Vegas 2011, PALO ALTO & LAS VEGAS, USA: DisplayLink Corp., the market share leader with more than 3.5 million users worldwide, has announced immediate OEM availability of its award-winning SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0) DL-3000 series of display controller chips with virtual graphics technology.

Incorporating a high level of assimilation that includes USB 2.0, 3.0, HDMI, DVI, VGA DAC, and Gigabit Ethernet, the DisplayLink DL-3000 series allows for the development of high performance, high resolution, compact and affordable PC peripherals that solve today’s real world connectivity problems including universal docking stations, USB monitors, PC to TV adapters, and zero clients.

Capable of seamlessly sharing content rich media between notebooks and other HD devices like dual multiple 1080p resolution monitors, the DisplayLink DL-3000 delivers true USB plug and play connectivity that is quintessential for both the business and consumer markets alike.
