AdvanIDe India receives award from NXP Semiconductors

MUMBAI: AdvanIDe, a leading silicon distributor of components for RFID transponders, chip cards and RFID readers and terminals, today announced that the company’s regional office in Mumbai, India, has received two awards from NXP Semiconductors in recognition of outstanding performance during 2010. It is the seventh year that AdvanIDe has received NXP supplier recognition.

AdvanIDe was presented with two awards at NXP Semiconductors’ Distribution Management Conference South Asia Pacific, including top honors for demand creation achievement in NXP’s new Best FAE category, which was introduced this year. The company also received an additional Special Recognition award for its business contributions to NXP during 2010.

“AdvanIDe has won well-deserved recognition for its hard work during 2010,” said Ajesh Kapoor, director of the Identification Busines, global sales and marketing, with NXP Semiconductors in India.
