Memory tester for DDR3 now available

HOUSTON, USA: INNOVENTIONS, Inc., a leading manufacturer of portable computer memory testers, is now shipping the RAMCHECK LX DDR3 memory tester for testing and identifying industry standard 240-pin PC3-6400, PC3-8500, PC3-10600, and PC3-12800 DDR3 (dual data rate) PC memory modules.

"DDR3 has replaced DDR2 and old DDR in the marketplace," said Dr. David Y. Feinstein, President of INNOVENTIONS. "This new tester gives retailers, distributors, memory dealers and repair techs a great tool to test and identify DDR3 memory quickly and reliably."

The RAMCHECK LX DDR3 tester (p/n INN-8686-DDR3) tests and identifies JEDEC-compliant 240-pin registered and unbuffered DDR3 DIMMs. No special setup is required. The DDR3 Series adapter included with the tester features rugged, easy-to-use Zero Insertion Force test sockets. Current RAMCHECK and RAMCHECK LX customers can purchase the DDR3 Series adapter separately for use with their existing test systems.

During each test, the memory module's size, structure, and type are automatically detected. RAMCHECK LX DDR3 quickly spots bad memory chips and alerts the user with a warning tone and visual signal. The Basic Test for a JEDEC-standard 1GB DIMM may be completed in as little as 30 seconds.

The RAMCHECK LX DDR3 is available for $3150.
