SUNNYVALE, USA: AMD announced that it expects revenue for the quarter ending September 25, 2010 to be in the range of down one to four percent as compared to revenue of $1.65 billion for the quarter ended June 26, 2010.
The sequential decrease is due to weaker than expected demand, particularly in the consumer notebook market in Western Europe and North America.
AMD will report third quarter 2010 results after market close on October 14, 2010. AMD will hold a conference call on this day for the financial community at 2:00 p.m. PT (5:00 p.m. ET) to discuss third quarter results.
