Gennum expands sales presence in India

BURLINGTON, USA: Gennum Corp. has expanded its global sales network with the addition of CoreEL Technologies, a premier technical sales representative in India.

Based in Bangalore, CoreEL will provide local sales and technical support for Gennum's entire line of analog, mixed-signal and optical IC products, including the company’s market-leading signal integrity solutions for video broadcast, networking, storage, telecommunications and high performance computing.

“India represents a critical growth region for Gennum as demand for 3DTV content climbs and data centers begin their transition to higher bandwidth standards such as 40- and 100-Gigabit Ethernet,” said Klaus Mueller, vice president of global sales for Gennum.

“CoreEL’s extensive design services background and technology expertise ensure that our growing India customer base has access to exceptional, local service and support. We are confident this agreement will rapidly expand our market presence in this key technology area.”

CoreEL Technologies has been providing solutions to customers in the defense, networking, semiconductors and industrial market segments for over 10 years. The company represents many high-profile IC, electronic design automation (EDA) software and semiconductor IP suppliers.
