SAN JOSE, USA & BIEL, SWITZERLAND: Zilog, a wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS Corp. and a trusted supplier of application specific, embedded micro controller (MCU) system-on-chip (SoC) solutions for industrial and consumer markets, has announced its new beta ZDS II version 5.0 which includes many new features and additional capabilities.
Zilog’s world class tools have been instrumental in many successful designs over the years and have continued to improve in order to provide fast implementation for application designs across many development segments. This is a major revision to Zilog’s tool suite and is designed to meet exactly what the developers are looking for in a world class microcontroller tools platform.
It is important to note that these are provided free for the development community to utilize for their new designs. In addition to many new features, Zilog has listened to customer requests in the development community and has included those insights in this release.
