Mentor Graphics announces further expansion at Broadcom adopting Veloce emulation platform

WILSONVILLE, USA: Mentor Graphics Corp. announced that Broadcom Corp. has further expanded its use of the Veloce hardware emulation platform for the system-level validation of its next-generation Networking Systems-on-Chip (SoC) for high-bandwidth switch applications.

“After a rigorous on-site evaluation, we concluded the Veloce platform’s combined strength to perform in-circuit emulation and transaction-based acceleration empowers us to achieve robust system validation.”

The Veloce platform with dual mode accelerator and emulator provides high performance for both transaction-based verification and traditional in-circuit emulation (ICE). With an extensive portfolio of both physical and virtual vertical market solutions, the Veloce platform is the platform of choice for multimedia, networking, wireless, and embedded systems applications.
