Mentor Graphics appoints new VP and chief HR officer

WILSONVILLE, USA: Mentor Graphics Corp. has appointed Michael Vishny as VP and chief human resources officer. Vishny will be responsible for organizational planning and development, employment, compensation, benefits, safety and health, and employee services.

Hinckley, Mentor Graphics president. “His wide experience, especially with technology companies, will prove a great asset in helping the company continue to optimize its productivity and profitability by recruiting and retaining top-notch employees.”

Vishny was most recently senior vice president, Human Resources, at Conexant Systems Inc. (formerly Rockwell Semiconductor Systems). Prior to that, he was a senior HR executive at US Robotics, Gateway Computers, S.C. Johnson & Sons and the A.C. Nielsen Co.
