The E6xx platform is a customizable, production-ready reference platforms based on the very new Intel Atom E6xx series of processors.The platform is targeted at low-power, high-performance, portable, embedded applications. A variety of market segment specific peripherals have been integrated and validated on it.
The platform comes with the required design collateral. This enables customers to build their own products and solutions –- focusing on their value add, reducing the time to market and lowering development risk and cost.
Application areas include handheld POS terminals, communication gateways, transportation and logistics, in-vehicle infotainment, digital signage, portable medical devices, security and surveillance, and industrial automation.
The platform was showcased at IDF-SFO 2010.
