ChipEstimate.com launches new site with expanded availability of chip design resources

USA: Building upon its success in supplying chip designers access to a broad range of critical intellectual property (IP) for their latest chips, ChipEstimate.com announced an expansion of content and resources available on its chip-planning portal.

In addition to easier access to information on semiconductor IP, the new ChipEstimate.com portal features a new interface with expanded search capability and visibility into content related to the user's interests. Users have immediate access to expanded content including hundreds of ChipEstimate.TV videos, blog posts, technical articles, whitepapers and more.

"ChipEstimate.com has been a useful resource in guiding many aspects of our chip planning process," said Ali Lakhia, IP manager at IDT. "Having access to an even broader range of design information, suppliers and resources in a single location should help enhance the productivity of our team."

Additional new blogs, technical articles, videos and more will be added to the site over time. The ChipEstimate.com portal will remain a free resource to the global IC design community, supported by the over 200 suppliers within the semiconductor supply chain who come together to make this possible.

"Since its launch in 2005, ChipEstimate.com has focused on connecting buyers and sellers of semiconductors," said Sean O'Kane, marketing director at ChipEstimate.com. "By harnessing the input of that community, we've expanded the resources available on the portal to aid in all aspects of early chip planning, including and beyond IP."
