GSA and the IET co-host eighth annual GSA & IET International Semiconductor Forum

SAN JOSE, USA: The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), the voice of the global semiconductor industry, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the largest professional engineering society in Europe, announced the eighth annual GSA & IET International Semiconductor Forum, to be held on 11-12 May, 2011 at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany.

The 2011 program will highlight European expertise on trends, innovation and opportunities in the wireless, automotive, smart utilities and power management markets. The Forum features over 20 distinguished speakers from leading semiconductor companies worldwide and includes a dynamic Town Hall Session entitled, “Models for Capitalising on Emerging Markets (BRIC)”, moderated by Malcolm Penn, chief executive officer of Future Horizons. Semiconductor executives from the BRIC markets will address what Europe's role will be in the global economy as well as what the fastest route to emerging economies for semiconductor companies truly is to the ever expanding market needs.

Town Hall session speakers include:
