SAN JOSE, USA: Cadence Design Systems Inc. announced that LSI Corp. signed a multi-year agreement for key Cadence mixed-signal technology. After reviewing competitive offerings, LSI chose Cadence technology for its leading mixed-signal methodologies supported by the Virtuoso custom and analog, and Incisive verification technology platforms.

Mixed-signal chips are essential for today’s complex electronics devices and play a strategically important role in LSI’s IC product business. LSI will use Cadence technologies, including the Virtuoso IC 6.1 suite and Incisive 9.2 suite, to develop its products for the networking and storage markets.
