Valpey Fisher’s microwave products group ships first production orders

HOPKINTON, USA: Valpey Fisher Corp.'s Microwave Products Group announced that it has begun production shipments to a major microwave radio manufacturer. The order, for a new, soon-to-debut series of high performance voltage variable attenuators, will enable the customer to take advantage of advances in microwave technology developed at Valpey Fisher.

The company’s Microwave Products Group, announced in March 2010, continues the company’s leadership on the design, manufacture and marketing of high performance RF/Microwave components and integrated modules for a broad range of end markets, including Microwave Point to Point, Wireless Infrastructure and Military communications.

The company’s voltage-variable attenuators are fully integrated and suited for a variety of applications, such as wireless base stations, remote radio heads, tower mounted amplifiers, and general-purpose attenuation.
