ISA to organize ISA Vision Summit 2011 in Bangalore

BANGALORE, INDIA: ISA, the apex trade body representing the Indian semiconductor and electronics industry, has announced that the sixth edition of the flagship annual conference, ISA Vision Summit to be held in Bangalore on February 21 and 22, 2011 at The Hotel Taj West End.

It is slated to be a high-powered conclave with participation of global and Indian leaders from the Electronic Systems, Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry and will be inaugurated by Dr. N Seshagiri, ex-Director General-NIC, Former Secretary-Dept of Technology and Secretary-Planning Commission.

The theme of the conference is 'Electronic Systems Innovation: India's opportunity to drive global markets' and Dr. N Seshagiri would deliver the key note address at the inauguration. In addition to this, several global leaders from the industry like S. D. Shibulal, COO, Infosys Technologies; Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt, Chair of UKIBC; Moshe Gavrielov, president and CEO, Xilinx Inc and Steve Sanghi, president, CEO and chairman of the Board, Microchip Technology Inc, would address focused sessions on sector opportunities.

The conference will offer in-depth insights into market trends and policy directives; exclusive sessions with innovators and business networking opportunities. The conference is likely to draw delegates from the electronics industry, global business and technology leaders, influencers, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, analysts and the media.

Viswanathan Anand, Indian Chess Grandmaster and World Chess Champion will give away the prestigious Technovation Awards 2011 at the conference.
