INSIDE Secure and Pace anti-piracy team to protect software publishers' IP

RSA CONFERENCE, SAN FRANCISCO, USA: INSIDE Secure and PACE Anti-Piracy announced that the two companies have collaborated to bring to market a portable, convenient, simple to use and robust security device to protect and manage multiple software licenses.

The next-generation PACE iLok USB Smart Key, recently announced, combines the INSIDE Secure VaultIC(tm) security technology with PACE Anti-Piracy's expertise in the development and licensing of anti-piracy systems for software publishers to deliver a smaller, stronger, more durable design with five times the capacity of the previous model.

The patented iLok USB Smart Key stores and processes the secure data necessary to authorize protected software. The new iLok USB Smart Key can support up to 500 license authorizations from multiple software vendors in a single device, while also providing cross-platform compatibility, distribution flexibility and portability of authorization. The iLok solution remains the industry leader in software protection for software publishers while providing a secure, highly portable and easily managed license system for end-users.
