Telegent Systems files registration statement for proposed IPO

SUNNYVALE, USA: Telegent Systems Inc. announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common shares.

The number of common shares to be sold in the offering and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. are acting as joint book-runners, and Jefferies & Co. Inc., Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as co-managers for the proposed offering.

The proposed offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.
