Tanner EDA joins Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2)

AUSTIN, USA: The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) announced that Tanner EDA, Inc., a driver for innovation in the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has recently joined Si2.

Tanner joins the other 100 key players in the semiconductor supply chain, focused on the development and adoption of standards to improve the way integrated circuits are designed and manufactured.

“We joined Si2 because one of its basic goals -- EDA tool interoperability -- is central to our commitment to our products and our customers,” said John Zuk, vice president of marketing & strategy for Tanner EDA. “We intend to participate in the Open PDK and OpenAccess coalitions to collaborate and share Tanner EDA’s 22 years of technological know-how”.

“Si2 constantly strives to offer value and service to our member companies,” said Steve Schulz, president and chief executive officer of Si2. “This is evidenced by our ever-increasing membership and new projects such as the OpenPDK Coalition. We are very pleased that Tanner EDA is joining Si2 and bringing its commitment to interoperability to the Initiative.”
