SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: On Monday, June 1, the SID Business Conference, will kick off SID's Display Week 2009, the display industry's premier weeklong gathering, held in San Antonio, Texas.
The Business Conference, a collaboration between DisplaySearch and the Society for Information Display (SID), has announced its final agenda: Commercializing Display Technology -- Opportunities in a Down Market.
The Business Conference keynote presentations will be from Thomas Holder, Investment Director at Intel Capital on "Win/Win Strategic Investing in Displays: What I've Learned" and Mary Lou Jepsen, Founder and CEO of Pixel Qi on "Making the Case: The Display Industry's Chance to Evolve in the Downturn."
Following the keynotes, two sessions will include presentations regarding case studies on the challenges and opportunities of commercialization of display technologies. These sessions include the following:
