e2v Aerospace and Defense releases qp5534a to production

SANTA CLARA, USA: e2v aerospace and defense announced that its hi-rel semiconductor operation in Santa Clara (formerly QP Semiconductor) has completed full qualification of the QP5534A, high performance, low noise bipolar Operational Amplifier (Op Amp).

This product is fully re-engineered and manufactured on a mainstream bipolar process, and has been approved for compliance to the DSCC Standard Microcircuit Drawing. It serves as a drop-in replacement for the industry standard 5534/5534A, manufactured by various semiconductor vendors, including Fairchild, Raytheon, Philips/Signetics, Texas Instruments and Exar.

The QP5534A is available in two package options: the 8-pin ceramic DIP and the 8-pin CAN, both manufactured in compliance with the latest revision of MIL-PRF-38535, making them ideally suited for military temperature applications. The QP5534A is available as MIL-STD-883 devices or in compliance with the applicable DSCC SMD# M38510/13101.

“e2v aerospace and defense continues the commitment to its Semiconductor Lifecycle Management (SLiM) program by introducing the QP5534A Op Amp, a popular industry standard device”, said Dean Frazier, corporate VP of e2v aerospace and defense. “We provide fully qualified DLA compliant devices for a wide variety of mission-critical aerospace and defense programs, eliminating the need for costly system redesign and extending program lifetimes. We continue to utilize our complete design services and qualified production capability to support aerospace and defense contractors on a wide variety of semiconductor devices.”

The QP5534A is available to the DSCC SMD, Vendor PN, or to an applicable SCD.
