Duolog collaborates with Cadence to enable faster system realization

DAC 2011, DUBLIN, IRELAND: Duolog Technologies, the award-winning developer of IP and SoC integration products, has combined its industry-proven integration platform, Socrates, with Cadence Design Systems’ new Cadence System Development Suite--part of the Cadence System Realization offerings--to enable faster product development through reduced integration time. Duolog will present this solution during DAC 2011 in San Diego, from June 5th-9th. Presentations will be held daily at Duolog’s booth #2931, and at the Cadence EDA360 Theater in booth #2237.

“Efficient integration is a bottleneck in accelerating system realization,” said Michał Siwiński, group director of product marketing, System Realization at Cadence. “The Duolog technology is a good complement to the Cadence System Realization offerings, helping to reduce lengthy integration time for complex systems in today’s application-driven technology environment.”

Duolog’s Socrates platform enables integration-ready IP that is consistent across the different modelling domains. Socrates offers accelerated HW/SW interface implementation and helps to eliminate an entire category of HW/SW interface bugs. Combining Socrates with the Cadence System Realization offerings, particularly the Cadence System Development Suite, accelerates end-product development by providing faster integration time.

“Weak integration methodology is a major roadblock for effective system realization,” said David Murray, Duolog’s CTO. “Adding the power of Socrates to the Cadence System Development Suite enables us to remove additional barriers, helping our mutual customers speed their overall system integration and development time.”

Duolog and Cadence continue to work together through open standards including UVM, TLM2.0, and IP-XACT to further reduce time-to-integration challenges.
