SmartPlay adds turnkey design to services offerings

BANGALORE, INDIA: SmartPlay Technologies, a leading provider of SoC design, embedded software and system design services, announced today that it has adopted tools from Synopsys’ Galaxy Implementation and Discovery Verification platforms for its ASIC design projects.

In addition, SmartPlay has deployed Synopsys’ Lynx Design System, a tapeout-proven, production-ready IC development environment, as a means to enhance the productivity of its design teams. The new agreement with Synopsys enables SmartPlay to extend the leading-edge design solutions it provides to its customer base.
