Sankalp Semiconductor enters into sales agreement with ChipStart to promote GPIO IP

PALO ALTO, USA: Sankalp Semiconductor, a leading semiconductor design services and IP provider, recently announced that the company has entered into a sales agreement with ChipStart, a leading semiconductor intellectual property and silicon solutions company.

The agreement states that ChipStart will distribute Sankalp’s GPIO IP resulting in increased geographical coverage for Sankalp Semiconductor. According to the sales agreement, ChipStart has rights to distribute Sankalp Semiconductor’s entire GPIO IP portfolio.

Sankalp Semiconductor has silicon proven GPIO libraries in 65nm TSMC GP and 40 nm TSMC G processes. A road map has been put in place to develop future libraries to support our valued customers’ needs.

"We are very pleased to sign a sales agreement with ChipStart," said, Samir Patel, president Sankalp. The strength and special niche ChipStart has in the market place was the major factor in the decision making process of Sankalp Semiconductor’s management team to sign this sales agreement with ChipStart.

“Quality of the IP and service provided by Sankalp Semiconductor made our decision easy and we plan to cooperate with them beyond this agreement,” Howard Pakosh, CEO of ChipStart mentioned.
