EVE’s ZeBu-Server supports comprehensive catalog of verification components

SAN JOSE, USA: EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, announced that ZeBu-Server, its a scalable emulation system capable of handling up to one-billion application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) gates, supports a wide range of verification components.

EVE’'s comprehensive catalog of ZeBu verification intellectual property (VIP) includes transactors, memory models and speed bridges. These verification components set a new standard in performance and affordability, helping to give ZeBu-Server the lowest cost of emulation ownership in the industry.

The transactor catalog of PCIe, USB, FireWire, Ethernet, Digital Video, RGB, HDMI, I2C, UART, JTAG and other verification components eases and accelerates the creation of a virtual platform test environment.

The memory model catalog includes a comprehensive set of DDR, GDDR, mobile and flash memories which are modelled using ZeBu-Server’s on-board memory. The speed bridge catalog physically connects ZeBu-Server to PCI, USB and video core target systems.

Priced at less than a penny per gate for large configurations, ZeBu-Server offers a high level of automation, short compile time, multi-user and smart debugging capabilities, and greater execution speed than previous generations.

ZeBu-Server is suitable for all system-on-chip (SoC) verification needs across the entire development cycle, from hardware verification, hardware/software integration to embedded software validation. It can be used as a multi-user, multi-mode accelerator/emulator with a typical performance of 10 megahertz (MHz) on a 40-million gate design.
