Tenda deploys SMB router platforms based on Cavium's ECONA processors

2011 International CES, MOUNTAIN VIEW, USA: Cavium Networks, a leading provider of semiconductor products that enable intelligent processing for networking, communications and the digital home, announced that Tenda Technology, a recognized leader in wireless and LAN networking for consumer, SOHO and small business users, has begun to deploy their next generation of security router product family based on Cavium’s ECONA multi-core ARM11 MPCore System-On-Chips (SOCs).

Delivering industry’s best performance at very cost-effective price points, this product family offers scalable platforms targeting low-, mid- and high-end SOHO and SMB applications. Tenda Technology is second largest vendor by unit shipments in China for SMB and Security gateways.
