GEO Semiconductor unveils new product platforms at CES 2011

2011 International CES, SANTA CLARA, USA: GEO Semiconductor Inc. will be unveiling new product capabilities centered around its eWARPTM and RealtaTM Platforms at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 (CES 2011) being held in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 6th through 10th 2011.

The new eWARPTM hardware and software platform constitutes a complete solution that enables designers to achieve stunning visual quality for Large Panel LCD Displays, TVs and LCD Monitors by providing advanced brightness and color uniformity correction, while simultaneously offering the capability to accomplish significant cost reduction.

GEO Semiconductor will also be demonstrating, for the first time, its software programmable REALTA platform for decode of 3D video formats that allow designers to easily achieve standards compliance with HDMI1.4aTM and other industry standard 3D formats, while providing advanced video processing to achieve broadcast quality video.

This platform also provides future-proofing of designs by allowing for easy in-field upgrades to handle newer standards. Software programmability allows designers to easily handle custom 3D formats.

Also on display are eWARP demonstrations that showcase 360o surveillance and 360o video conferencing capabilities featuring GEO Semiconductor’s patented electronic pan-tilt-zoom (ePTZ) infrastructure.
