1H’Sep. mainstream MLC NAND Flash contract price rose 3~12pc due to the warming demand for inventory replenishment of hot season

TAIPEI, TAIWAN: The 1H’Sep. NAND Flash mainstream contract price adjusted up 3~12 percent due to the inventory replenishment for hot seasons. Most NAND Flash vendor retrieved orders from system customers for year end sales.Says DRAMeXchange.

Memory card and UFD demand are warming up for the preparation for Chinese National holidays. NAND Flash vendors put system customers in priority for the sake of long orders, that is, we believe the aggregate output can not satisfy the card makers’ demand for September. 1H’Sep. NAND Flash contract price shows the upward trend given the fact of tight supply.

DRAMeXchange states that since September and October are the hot seasons for inventory replenishment for downstream customers and output supply will increase along with the raising portion of 3Xnm technology products in October.

We believe that the tight supply situation will continue in September. NAND Flash contract upward pricing trend is expected to remain strong in the short term given the inventory replenishment effect.
