ASIS International 2011, SANTA CLARA, USA: GEO Semiconductor Inc., a leader in programmable, high performance, video and geometry processing IC solutions for both 2D and 3D applications, announced that it is releasing a new product platform at the ASIS International 2011 Conference and Exhibition that brings unique features and functions to Security and Surveillance applications through its eWARP Platform featuring the sxW2 IC.
The conference is being held at the Orange County Convention Center West in Orlando, Florida from September 19th through the 21st. Demonstrations may be viewed at the GEO Semiconductor exhibit number 3074 on the show floor during Exhibit Hours.
The eWARP demonstration showcases the electronic Pan-Tilt-Zoom capabilities for Security Cameras as well as de-warp of very wide angle / fish-eye lenses, enabling 180/360 degree vision at full HD resolution (1080p60) using the sxW2 IC. Newly launched capabilities such as multiple virtual cameras and “Zero-Blind-Spot” full-room view de-warp functions will be presented for the first time.
These capabilities enable designers to create very powerful surveillance platforms that offer increased flexibility in the configuration of security systems and expand the coverage area while greatly minimizing the number of physical cameras used.
