BANGALORE, INDIA: DSipher Design Solutions Pvt Ltd, a semiconductor start-up, with a mission to provide best-in-class consulting expertise in IC and software design, has launched ‘IPintentio’, a single, integrated platform comprising design flows for front-end design, physical design and software simulation.
With a vision of making the process of IC designing simple and easy, DSipher Design Solutions has introduced IPintentio, an OS independent platform that integrates hardware-IC-design flows along with a parallel software simulation methodology.
DSipher Design Solutions intends to make chip design more accessible despite many challenges that exist.

The IPintentio platform
IPintentio is a web-based platform that makes integrated circuit design process implementation, execution and management simpler, faster and cost effective. IPintentio is inherently customizable, capable of incorporating any design process and EDA software, is graphical, intuitive and easy to use and can be accessed from all popular web browsers.
IPintentio is an integrated, yet flexible, platform comprising design flows for front-end design, physical design and software simulation. Each constituent flow step abstracts out the underlying EDA software invocation, specific switches, and input requirements, thereby minimizing dependence on EDA software expertise. This is achieved through a lower level interface – hidden from the user – which maps software switches to flow-specific concepts.
IPintentio offers three distinct product lines customized to meet the requirements of design houses (IPi Inc), educational institutes offering courses and projects in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Computer Science (IPi Edu), as well as hobbyists and individuals seeking a cost-effective solution to establish a functional proof-of-concept for digital IPs (IPi Lite).
