NEWPORT BEACH, USA: Acacia Research Corp. announced that a subsidiary has acquired 65 US and foreign patents from a major semiconductor company.
“Acacia is becoming the patent licensing partner of choice for large companies,” commented Paul Ryan, Acacia chairman and CEO. “As Acacia’s licensing success grows, an increasing number of large companies are selecting us as their partner for the licensing of their patented technologies,” concluded Ryan.
The patent portfolios include patents relating to dynamic random access memory (DRAM) technology. This technology may be used in computers, mobile devices (such as smart phones, cameras, etc.) and other electronics.
