ORLANDO, USA: Freescale Semiconductor kicks off the Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) Americas at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Conference Centers in Orlando, Fla.
FTF provides a unique opportunity for attendees to view and interact with the Freescale ecosystem, a global community comprised of Freescale and its partners, customers and universities. Approximately 2,000 designers, applications engineers, industry leading experts, executives and hardware, software and tools partners are on hand for the Americas event.
The FTF Americas 2010 program includes more than 350 hours of technical training sessions organized into five tracks: Automotive, Consumer, Industrial, Networking and Enabling Technologies. The event also features a 28,000 square-foot interactive Technology Lab with more than 175 demonstrations from Freescale and its partners and keynote presentations from industry visionaries.
The theme for the global FTF 2010 program is “Powering Innovation.” Freescale will emphasize not only its leading technologies and products that help embedded developers differentiate their designs - but also the comprehensive, market-focused spectrum of enablement solutions and ecosystem partnerships needed to help developers innovate and accelerate their time to market.
Other key topics of discussion will include trends such as making the smart grid a reality, what's next with smart mobile devices, advances in personal healthcare, the evolution of embedded sensing, making multicore development more manageable, and how software is changing the embedded landscape.
