The emphasis on a new brand reflects Icera’s desire for a more unified representation across its global business as it has evolved from being a small start-up to becoming the number two vendor in mobile broadband products and set to become the challenger in high performance Android smartphones.The new branding positions the existing Icera name and typeface alongside a new visual identity of three overlapping green squares.
Underlying the visual element are three qualities Icera stands for that deliver value to its customers; the green squares represent thought bubbles to communicate the quality and expertise of Icera’s people who apply different thinking to complex cellular technology, the unique soft modem chipsets the company designs and delivers, and the different layers of software that deliver the latest air interface technology as software upgrades at no extra silicon cost.
